WOW! What a zombie walk!!!

WOW!  It's a proud day to belong to the Zombmob!!

This was our second year hosting the Gresham Zombie Walk, and it was amazing.  We collected so much non-perishable food to distribute in our communities, the weather was perfect, and the shocked faces on bystanders were priceless!!  We had zombies from as far away as Aloha, Oregon come and join us for our yearly shamble around town. We had brand new babies, and lil old ladies, and everyone left with a smile.

We want to give a humongous shout out to our very favorite zombie team, Niall's Zombie Control Service for keeping us happy, healthy, and safe on our walk this year.  Their professionalism is second to none, and we can't be more thankful to have them direct us through intersections and make our zombie walk simply look bad a%$.

Our efforts to raise awareness that zombie lives matter and deserve to have a candidate in the presidential election is a success.  We sold some shirts, spread some virus, and are happy to announce that we are expanding our horde.

The biggest change we're announcing is that we are changing our name.  We will now be the Greater East County Zombie Walk.  We love Gresham, but we love Portland too, and we want to expand to include other areas.

Now the GZW is the GECZW!  How exciting is that?  This is the beginning of our re-brand, and you'll see changes on our Facebook page as well as our blog name.

No matter what we call our walk, or where it is held, we will always be your very favorite Zombmob.

There are so many new things cooking in the GZW, I wish I could share them all with you, but trust in the process and believe me when I say that zombies in the Portland Metro area are no longer going to be bound to the Halloween season...

To be continued........

Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies...in Gresham!

Hello Zombmob!  Long time no talk to!

Since this is the week of Pride Prejudice and Zombies, I thought it would be amazing to check in with all of you.

Many of us have read the book…sadly, I have not. It is on my list of things to do, but there’s so much to do that sometimes the list is just too big, you know what I mean?

BUT, a movie is the perfect opportunity to get all zombied up and scare some normies at Stark Street Theater at the 9:50 showing.

If you’re planning on getting your zombie on, make sure you follow some Zombmob cardinal rules:

  • No guts, no glory….unless you leave your guts on a theater seat.  Bad form zombie.
  • See no evil, hear no evil….respect that others are there for the movie and keep your moans to a whisper.
  • Don’t feed the bears…and don’t lay on the scare if someone is visibly terrified of you.  Instead, smile and wave, then shamble away.
  • Safety in numbers…

Alright then, now that we’re set, start making those homemade gummy worms, and don’t forget to post any zombilicious photos  with
